Mexico Clasico

Update came today and it was good service and delicious food as always. I asked the ladies at the CVS pharmacy what is a good Mexican restaurant to go to and they suggested this one. I went with for three sons and they enjoyed it. The price, atmosphere, food and service was great! We just found our regular Mexican food place!

Everything here is so good, however the Fajita Suiza is my favorite and soooo AMAZING! The guacamole is AMAZING! The margaritas are AMAZING! Somehow even the iced water they serve seems colder & more fresh. The food is always hot & fresh. Everyone is so friendly! I love it here!

Very good service, food is tasty, the fried ice cream is delicious. Waiters have always been attentive and polite. Nice combo of salsas that are both spicy (my preference) and mild (kids preference). The kids meals are a great value and we love the lunch specials. Bathrooms very clean which is a pet peeve of mine. Solid place for a good meal.

Great restaurant in the heart of rovkford. We stopped by on a fluke since we were passing thru the area. The place was fairly busy for lunch time. It is a nice clean place with a mellow atmosphere. They have all the classics on the menu. And make the guac fresh at your table. You are given fresh hot tortillas and good salsa when you are seated. I ordered a steak torta and it was huge, and unlike most tortas ive had before. It was packed with nicely seasoned steak, loaded with jalapenos, avocado, cheese and a bunch of other stuff. The torta alone is a full meal. My cousin got steak tacos which were just as good.

This is a wonderful gem for a meal and truly delicious food! There's a warm welcome ready to greet and serve you. The atmosphere is astonishing and the artwork is mesmerizing. The trip to the bathroom is even scenic! It looks to have private dining upstairs. I look forward to returning and bring family and friends. It's a great experience down to the last bite.

Was a great place for our corporate event. We had the backroom to ourselves, 3 different wait staff and 2 bussers assisting us throughout the night, and delicious food set up nicely. Arisela the manager was very nice and kept the place organized and clean. We also had some awards to give out and Arisela made sure the music was down for us and the curtains drawn. Spent at least 4 hours here and the longest wait I saw was right at the beginning when we sent in 30+ drinks at once and they came out within 5 minutes in segments. Very organized and all drink orders were accurate and picture perfect. Guacamole was amazing! The team loved the different selections for the taco bar set up and the plentiful amounts. Salsa tasted fresh, chicken was juicy, and the tortillas were soft yet durable. Would set up here again if we had another chance to. Thank you Arisela and her team for their excellent service and great food.

We went to Mexico Clasico on Saturday afternoon with a table of four. Our server, Andera, was very friendly, attentive, and really added to our enjoyable dining experience. Everyone loved their food, and the margaritas were excellent. Overall, it was a great experience—I highly recommend them!

From Tacos, to Enchiladas, and Fajitas, to freshly made guacamole, our table of 8 had a pleasant, fun dining experience. The staff was polite, accommodating and quickly corrected any oversights. The atmosphere was decorative, clean, and the noise level was low enough for us to hear each other's conversation. Great spot for delicious food.
